Marisa Newman Projects is pleased to present Pink Spiral, a sculpture-focused exhibition curated by Jude Broughan. This exhibition is centered around the work of the late Nancy Azara, a pioneering feminist artist known for her evocative use of carved wood, gilding, and painted surfaces which explore themes of memory, spirituality, and the natural world.

The exhibition brings together seven contemporary artists—Lisha Bai, Priscilla Fusco, Emily Harris, Rune Olsen, Michelle Rosenberg, Elisa Soliven and Gabriela Vainsencher—who engage with similar materials and conceptual concerns, forming an intergenerational dialogue with Azara’s legacy.
